If We Had A Lemonade

Oh dear!

It’s one more month and I am 51. How did that happen????

We have used the last week to start downsizing our home. So for today’s #WeekendCoffeeShare from the lovely Natalie, I am keeping it short. I can’t share too much yet. But please come in have a lemonade, tea, coffee or hot chocolate and have some biscuits. Yes, the date and walnut ones 🙂

I am not bothered by my age. To be honest, despite the major health issue last year I feel better than ever before. But I do wonder, how on earth all this time went by so fast? Surely it can only be a couple of years since I was in my 20’s and studied. Surely I can’t be nearly at retiring age?

And I wonder how other people experience time. Does it run for you as it does for me? Or are you fully in the moment and don’t have a problem with how old you have become?

This post takes part in Nathalie The Explorer’s #WeekendCoffeeShare. You can find her post for this week here and many more chatty posts in the comments.

Happy chatting

and remember:

You can do it!

Hi Liz, speaking of time, I’m sorry for being so late this round. I lost Saturday to an much needed edit task for a new story I’m almost done with .

But yes, I’m 66 now and simply had to admit that it happened without my really seeing it coming. I’m pretty sure that there’s a formula that takes your age, # of children and amount of time spent in college and what results is how fast time accelerates as you get older because I had much longer days in my 30’s as compared to my 40’s etc. Now, the weeks blur past.

I’m still working and hope that once I agree to retire, that things will slow down – at least some.
