If We Had A Lemonade…

If We Had A Lemonade

Hello, out there in the depths of the blogosphere. How is your day going? Has it started yet? I have been up for a tea earlier and then went back to bed. But now, I am ready for what life is throwing at me.

I thought I start taking part in Natalie’s #WeekendCoffeeShare. So please come in have a lemonade, tea, coffee or hot chocolate and a biscuit. I’ve made them, and they are with date sugar, so not too sweet. But feel free to grab an apple or a sandwich too.

You might have seen that I started some new projects here on the blog. But I also went back to some weekly projects from other blogs. It is exciting to be so creative again. For a long while, I didn’t manage to write much. Health issues didn’t leave me much energy for anything, and I struggled to figure out what I wanted to do.

But last week, when the husband and I decided to downsize, something seems to have unlocked in me. I’ll tell you when we figured out what we want to do, but for now, I can only say that we plan to be debt-free, and we will also travel. I wrote earlier in the week I have re-discovered my love for storytelling and am happy to have started a prompt of my own. You can find it every Saturday at the “Let’s Listen And Write…” posts. It is a Stream of Consciousness writing prompt that I found very inspiring. That is why I want to share it with you. I am so looking forward to reading your stories if you feel like taking part.

I have also cut down my spiritual activities. Well, if you can call Julia Cameron’s “Morning Pages” a “spiritual activity”. For many years I had subscribed to Cameron’s idea that journaling in the morning is essential for my happiness and creativity. Recently though, I realised that this practice rather stopped me instead of encouraged me to be creative. So, I stopped and got to blogging daily instead. And that makes me very happy. It’s like coming home to myself.

Also, I wondered for a long time what my tribe might be. I always felt not lonely but a little like an outsider everywhere. However, I figured that bloggers and writers have always been my crowd and that it is time to fully immerse myself in that extraordinary tribe. You rock, ladies and gentlemen!!!

So what are the plans for this blog now? There’ll be book review’s on Monday’s and I’ll answer “Eugi’s Weekly Prompt” on Tuesdays. Wednesday’s are, of course, for “Wordless Wednesday” even though my posts are not so wordless 😉 . On Thursday’s I have started a sci-fi/fantasy series that I need to develop a lot. On Friday’s I plan to talk about bookish and reading things. I already mentioned the writing prompt for Saturdays and on Sunday we can meet for lemonade and chat. What do you think of that?

One thing I want to integrate more into my life is reading more blogs. You are writing so many wonderful posts with a myriad of topics that are often so creative, thoughtful, encouraging and inspiring that it is a loss not to explore them more often. Well, let’s see where this leads me.

And what about you? Do you have new plans for your life? Or are you happy where you are at the moment? Let’s chat with our favourite beverage and share what’s up 🙂

This post takes part in Nathalie The Explorer’s #WeekendCoffeeShare. You can find her post for this week here and many more chatty posts in the comments.

Happy chatting

and remember:

You can do it!

Hello Liz, Your plan to do more of what you enjoy (i.e. writing) sounds good. Thank you for joining my weekly Weekend Coffee Share link-up. I set up an Inlinkz link on my blog for each link-up. It’s the blue button at the end of my blog post. If you enter your blog URL in the InLinkz, your thumbnail will appear so other participants can see it and you can see all participants at each link-up. Entering the InlInkz link is optional, just makes your blog more visible. I’ve also approved your pingback and it appears in my Comments section.
